Jason Lake-led investor group acquires Complexity from GameSquare | HLTV.org
GameSquare has announced the sale of the Complexity Gaming brand to an investor group led by the founder of the esports organization, Jason Lake, called Global Esports Properties for $10.36 million.
The deal sees the brand return to the hands of its former owner and founder five months after it was announced that FaZe Clan agreed on an acquisition by GameSquare.
That acquisition, which is now weeks away from completion, would have put FaZe and Complexity in a direct conflict of interest had they stayed under the same ownership group, as they both field Counter-Strike teams in many of the same competitions. This is prohibited in Valve’s Major rulebook as well as in ESL’s.

Grayhound macht die Pforten dicht, nachdem man das Major verpasst hat
Grayhound has announced it is ceasing operations and that its Australian lineup is looking for a new home. The news comes mere days after the squad failed to qualify for PGL Major Copenhagen after finishing in third place at the Asia RMR.
In a post on X/Twitter, the team’s IGL, Christopher „dexter“ Nong, stated the lineup intends to continue playing together and is hoping to find an organization in its region to represent, while highlighting the fact they have appearances at IEM Chengdu, ESL Pro League and IEM Dallas on the horizon.

mal ehrlich: Wenn man gegen so ein zusammengewürfeltes AC Team so mies aussieht, dann hab ich auch für das Lineup kaum Hoffnung.
Zuvor war die Ausrede immer, dass das Lineup noch Zeit braucht, aber NIP ist ja genauso zusammengewürfelt, nachdem 3 Spieler zum Mainteam hochgezogen wurden. Da darf weder die Map, noch mangelndes Pracc, noch sonst irgendwas eine Ausrede sein.
