After months of struggles to raise enough capital to continue operations, the Heroic Group is on the horizon of going private under a new owner.
Shareholders representing over 75% of all shares in Heroic Group have now signed purchase agreements with the to-be new owner, Krow Bidco AS, meeting the threshold necessary for the acquisition. The buyer is now expected to launch an offer for the acquisition of the remaining shares, according to the release.
Based on a NOK 2.0 share price, the deal would currently see all of Heroic Group’s shares sold for NOK 55.9m (~£4.2m; $5.26m).
Krow Bidco AS is Norwegian private limited liability company which is “ultimately fully owned by a regulated EU investment fund”, according to a company release. Heroic said in the announcement that Krow Bidco’s pool of investors would help ensure ongoing operational funding, growth, expansion and success of the company.

Jo. Aktuell siehts ja so aus, dass sie bis Ende des Jahres ne Menge Sponsoren finden müssen, weil sie sonst eben Pleite sind.
Und da die Blase Esports gerade immer mehr platzt, ist die Gefahr recht deutlich, dass Faze Ende des Jahres weg ist. Sponsoren findet man aktuell nicht mehr so gut wie vor 2-3 Jahren.
